Overview
The CAPITA Outerspace Living is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard made for progression and versatility. It’s mid-flex makes it perfect for intermediate riders looking to ride everything from the park to the peak. It is a playful yet stable ride for progressing riders.
The camrock profile provides float from the rocker sections in the nose and tail. With edge-hold and snap between the feet from the camber zone. Allowing you to explore the trees on deep days and rip groomers during low tide. The camrock profile also increases ease of entry into turns, allowing you to hone your carving skills faster.
The Outerspace Living also boasts a directional twin shape. This allows intuitive switch riding for freestyle and provides an advantage on deep days with a slightly longer nose for float.
Rails and jibs are no problem for this board. The moderate flex lets you be playful in the park with a fair amount of forgiveness. And when you get sideways the board will hug nicely around the feature to lock you in.
The CAPITA Outerspace Living is ideal for strong beginners and intermediate to advanced riders looking for a playful deck with pop and bite for all-mountain freestyle shredding.

Rider review
I rode the 2023/2024 CAPITA Outerspace Living last season and had a great time testing it out. It is a very playful and forgiving all-mountian freestyle deck. The flex felt a bit softer than middle of the road and had an abundance of torsional flex, which made it easy to ankle steer. Ollie’ing felt quick and easy to engage, the camrock profile makes it a very skate-like engagement to pop. It didn’t “boost” side hits or jumps, but I had no problem getting in the air or onto features.
I took the Outerspace Living off of a few small to medium jumps and felt it was easy to grab and spin but could be a little squirrelly if you landed tail-heavy. Although this board is a directional twin, it felt like riding a true twin the whole time. I didn’t get to test this board in powder, but I wouldn’t doubt its ability to float on a typical powder day, as the rocker in the nose and tail was very noticeable and would likely keep you afloat, especially if you mount your bindings towards the tail. Speaking of the nose and tail rocker, pressing and doing flat-ground tricks was super easy and accessible due to the large sweet spots provided by those rocker sections.
Carving also felt smooth and intuitive. Getting in and out of turns was no struggle. And I could feel the camber bite and hold when laying into a turn. However, at higher speeds or in rougher terrain, I could feel the board getting bucked around a bit and losing hold due to the softer flex. So it can carve, but it has limits.
Overall, this board is great to learn on and can help speed up the learning curve. You can take it into the park, cruise the groomers, and smash the occasional powder day. I’d recommend this board to strong beginners and those looking for a fun, playful, all-mountain freestyle snowboard.
