PROFILE
-
Hyperdrive™ Base – Exclusively formulated, sintered, ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-high density polyethylene, custom engineered with special additives.
Moonshot Omni-Tune™ – Aftermarket performance stone grind structure straight from The Mothership, optimized for regular and switch riding.
Die-Cut Base

3D Thermopolymer SuperCore™ – Extremely lightweight super-combo core of premium Poplar, Paulownia, Beech with recycled thermopolymer inlaid channels, for maximum durability, energy and pop.
-
Supercarbon™ – Super wide carbon tape = twice the power and response of previous carbon additives.
Magic Bean Resin – This advanced resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw material and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions. In production, it has a low-temperature requirement with a high yield output. Poppy, powerful, and extremely durable, MAGIC BEAN™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing a decrease in the wood core thickness. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return.
Triax/Triax Holysheet™ – The HOLYSHEET™ fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. Triaxial fiberglass is placed on both the top and bottom of the core providing maximum strength, durability and performance.
-
Fortress™ Aramid Bound Sidewalls – bonded by an Aramid “S” wrap from the top of the sidewall to the underside of the core. This lightweight technology binds the sidewall and core material together for enhanced durability.
-
360˚ HRC48 Steel Edges
-
Megalite Skin™ Topsheet – Super thin yet durable matte lamina for 60% weight reduction over Capita's regular topsheets.
-
Multitech™ Level 4 DeepSpace™ Silkscreen – The DEEPSPACE™ Design Theory takes advantage of the thickness of a transparent topsheet. Strategically layering ink on multiple levels from the top and the bottom imbues graphics with a sense of life through depth.

Rider review
I rode the 2023/2024 CAPITA SUPER D.O.A. and loved it! It is a borderline quiver killer for any freestyle-focused rider. This snowboard handled everything I threw at it, from the park to the powder. Quick & powerful ollies felt easy to engage. Railing a turn and getting up on edge was no problem. The board felt very stable when ridden at speed, the only excpetion to this was in more hardpack freeride type conditions(such as icy chunder) than you can feel the board getting bucked around a bit and you need to slow down or bend those knees more. The turn initiation also felt smooth and effortless, especially when compared to similar traditional full-camber boards in this class. The softer flexing nose and tail enabled a more playful feel for buttering and jibing. I felt this board really excel when ridden at speed, the mid-stiff flex comes alive to deliver stability and response with solid edge-hold when carving. The HyperDrive ADV base and factory Moonshot Omni-Tune were noticeable for keeping speed when charging down runs, dropping into park features, and crossing flats. The lightweight design made getting in the air and reaching for grabs a breeze. The mid-stiff flex also gave ample landing gear for landing bigger hits in and outside the park. There is some chatter in the nose when riding at speed, but this does not affect the edge hold or stability and quickly dissipates around the front foot, where the board starts to stiffen up throughout the midsection. In powder, you can keep your tips up without too much effort as the softer nose and tail help the board to flex into a more advantageous position, especially combined with the move mellow hybrid-camber profile. If you set your stance back and go fast, you won’t have any issues on the average powder day. But this board is not a dedicated pow-stick so some leg muscles were required when riding through deeper snow.
