Overview
The Ride Deep Fake is a unisex freeride machine. Designed for stability, edge hold, float, and relentless “send.” The directional extra camber provides superior pop and stability in variable terrain. The stiffer directional flex pattern, supplied by the pre-cured fiberglass and carbon stringers, supports the rider through high-speed turns and busts through chunder.
The Linear Quadratic Sidecut creates smooth turn initiation while reducing the risk of washing out on highspeed carves. The Metal Slimwalls combine with the extra camber, sidecut, and rigid-flex to generate remarkable edge hold, as the metal edges slice into ice and hard pack with ease.
This board is the weapon of choice for aggressive riders who want to charge through chunder, plunder powder, and fly through the sky.
profile
-
Sintered, Stone Ground Base – High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that’s durable, harder, & faster than extruded.
-
2x4 Insert Pattern.
-
LINEAR QUADRATIC SIDECUT - A directional sidecut with Quadratic curvature from the nose to the rear insert pack, then progressing into a linear section through the tail. This creates smooth, catch-free turn initiation & support through turns without losing grip.
-
PERFORMANCE CORE - High-strength Aspen combined with Bamboo & lightweight Paulownia wood to provide a perfect balance of strength & weight reduction.
DOUBLE IMPACT PLATES - Added under each binding area to improve compressive strength & prevent board damage where it matters most.
-
CARBON ARRAY 5 - Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zones that gather input from any stance width & all applied pressure angles. Rider input is channeled to the opposing contact point, delivering maximum board control.
PRE-CURED GLASS FIBERGLASS - pre-cured fiberglass optimizes glass-to-resin ratios to create a consistent flex pattern. No other glass provides the same level of stability & control.
-
METAL SLIM WALL - Utilizes full-length Titanal Aluminum strips laminated into a urethane composite sandwich. Providing superior edge hold, more efficient energy transfer, & exceptional durability. Metal Slim Walls dampen vibration & maintain edge-hold while providing a playful flex pattern & responsive snap between turns. This technology is the first of its kind in the industry & solidifies RIDE as the leader in 3D & composite sidewall design.

Rider review
After demoing the 2024/2025 Ride Deep Fake, I was ready to buy one myself. I got to ride it during the “morning missle” hour when the groomers are icy and “death cookies” are abundant. And the Deep Fake handled everything I threw at it. I could ride as fast as gravity would pull me without slipping out and I could turn hard without losing my edge. I could even hear the icy corduroy “zipper” past as I cut through it with drawn-out carves.
There wasn’t much torsional flex to speak of, but it was there and was enough to allow me to manipulate the board for more laid-out carves. I felt substantial snap when ollieing off rollers and side hits, but I quickly found more rebound when engaging an ollie with more precision and speed. That more precise, high-speed approach unlocked the board's true pop potential.
Riding switch was not an issue; it felt a bit different at first, but once I got the feel down, I could turn on the gas and carve switch as well. The extra camber and flex made the board feel less forgiving, so speed was definitely an ally when it came to spins, presses, and jumps. Higher speeds helped to minimize the chance of coming up short and/or setting down an edge too soon.
I’d recommend this board to advanced riders and up who are looking for an aggressive board that can handle steep technical terrain, big airs, and high speeds. The extra camber and rigid-flex make this board less forgiving, so be ready to be on your game when riding this deck. You get out more than you put in with the Deep Fake, and it will have your back anywhere you take it—as long as you take it with an assertive attitude.
