Overview
The YES GREATS UNINC. is an all-mountain freestyle asymmetrical twin that delivers high-level performance off every side hit, jump, and bump you can find. The slightly stiffer flex delivers stability at speed and in variable terrain. While the camrock profile provides pop underfoot with float and forgiveness out in the tip and tail.
The most prominent feature of the YES GREAT UNINC. is the Asymmetrical MidBite. Your toes don’t grip like your heels, so why should you board? The toe-edge starts with a larger radius sidecut outside the bindings and then bumps inwards to a tighter sidecut radius between the feet. The heel-edge is similar but has an even tighter sidecut between the feet that runs for a shorter distance. This increases edge-hold on the heel-edge which creates an overall more balanced ride as gripping on the toe-edge comes more naturaly to the body. This also creates a naturally narrower waist which increases torsional flex for carving control and freestyle play.
The end result is an all-mountain twin that grips, rips, and spins in all directions with ease. Intermediate rides and up, take this board into the park, trees, groomers, or pow for a great time.
profile
-
Sintered - YES' sintered bases are crafted by fusing polyethylene particles under heat & pressure, creating a porous & durable surface. Which creates a superior speed & wax absorption, these bases are favored by riders for their high-performance capabilities in various snow conditions.
-
2x4 Insert Pattern.
-
Asymmetrical side cuts with 3 radial side cuts on each edge, larger radii at the nose and tail for smoother turn entry and exit. With a tighter radius at the midsection for locking into tight turns. Which varies between the toe and heel edge for increased hold on heelside turns
-
Poplar Paulownia Bamboo – creates a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulownia & then inserts 2 bamboo stringers down the full length for added pop & response.
-
Triaxial fiberglass that adds torsional stiffness to the board, enhancing its overall stability & responsiveness. Delivering more precision & control, making the board more suitable for riders who prioritize stability at higher speeds, improved edge hold, and better performance in challenging conditions.
-
Asymmetrical MidBite – MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose & tail. The design steps a single section of each sidecut inward between the insert packs. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings creates a narrower waist width, providing quicker edge-to-edge response. While, from your bindings out to the end of the sidecut a wider board width is maintained that improves float in pow & is a stable platform for popping, spinning, and landing.
-
Forever Flex - a manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex & rocker profile of a board for its lifetime. The boards finish the first stages of production slightly overbuilt & then are “broken in” using a specialized machinery that mimics riding use. By flexing the fresh board fibers & epoxy at the factory the materials settle into their final arrangement within the board layup much the same as if you rode the board for 20 days.

Rider review
I rode the 2020/2021 YES GREATS UNINC. at Snowbasin, Utah, on a variable conditions day with a mix of leftover powder and ice throughout the mountain. My biggest first impressions were the grip, torsional flex, and forgiveness at the tip & tail. At speed, you quickly feel the heel and toe edge equally bite into the snow, whether in icy or soft conditions. I had no problem laying over a carve or ripping a turn and never had a “wash out” feeling.
The narrower waist gives ample torsional flex between the feet, making it easy to foot steer and manipulate the board while riding and pressing. However, this did not impact the tip-to-tail flex, which remained a bit stiffer than the middle-of-the-road and still generated stability and pop. The rocker in the nose and tail also surprised me as it made the board feel a bit looser and more forgiving on spins and presses than I expected. It also helped the board to float better than expected in deeper snow. I particularly noticed this when cruising through powdery trees; I could turn when needed without worrying about nose-diving. As long as I had just a little weight on the back foot, then the nose would stay afloat.
At slower speeds, I could feel the asymmetrical midbite “catch” a little if I was riding more casually; it was not an issue, just something to be aware of (this whip likes speed). This goes for park riding as well, when I came into jumps or jibs with more speed I could feel the board pop higher, slide smoother, and land cleaner. However, the camrock profile kept the ollie-ing very skate-like and made it easy to engage at fast or slow speeds.
I’d recommend the YES GREATS UNINC to intermediate riders and those who want a high-performing park board that can still handle the whole mountain while excelling at all-mountain freestyle type riding.

Rider review
I’ve been riding the 2020/2021 YES GREATS UNINC. for the past 4 seasons, and it has been an awesome all-mountain board! It’s handled everything on the mountain and has been great in the park, especially when it comes to jumps. You can really feel the Asymmetrical Midbite lock in at speed, and how it makes the transitions from toe to heel side feel smooth due to the narrower waist—making this board feel very stable when riding fast or in variable terrain.
The camrock profile makes it feel poppy and ready to send over jumps while still feeling playful at the tips for butters and jibbing. There is some chatter in the nose when riding at higher speeds, but nothing that impacts the edge hold or stability. I had multiple powder days with this board as well, and the rocker in the nose makes it easy to set your stance back and enjoy riding on deeper days.
Overall, I think this is a solid choice for an all-mountain boarder who favors the park but still wants to be able to rip the whole mountain.
